One question I have been asked time and time again is, “Aren’t you and Sandy little old to be hiking 500 miles across Spain?” My stock answer has been, “Well, we are certainly going to to find out.”
In reading the Camino Forum we have learned there are many older folks hiking the route, even into their 80’s to 90’s. The common feeling is that you hike the Camino at your own speed, it is not a race, it is a lifelong experience.
